Unlocking Artificial Intelligence for Social Impact
Day 06 of November 2025, on Doha.
WHAT: Session “Unlocking Artificial Intelligence for Social Impact,” organized on the sidelines of the 2nd World Summit for Social Development. The event will explore the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) and its implications for social development. It will identify ways to harness AI for inclusive social progress, ensuring it serves the public good while mitigating potential negative effects, particularly for disadvantaged groups, and will share insights from the GCC’s AI policy and implementation experience.
WHO: Organized by ESCWA in partnership with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Executive Bureau and the Ministry of Community Empowerment of the United Arab Emirates, with participation from high-level policymakers and experts.
