WHAT: Panel “Boosting the Bioeconomy: Innovation and Competitiveness in the Productive Chains of Amazonian Biodiversity,” held during COP30 at the AgriZone in Belém. The session will present the “Boosting the Bioeconomy” project, part of the EU-funded Euroclima Programme, co-financed by Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and implemented by GIZ and Expertise France in partnership with Embrapa and MDIC. Discussions will focus on innovation, competitiveness, and sustainability strategies in Amazonian biodiversity value chains, highlighting partnerships between science, agriculture, and industry for regional bioeconomic development.

WHO: Delegation of the European Union to Brazil, Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa), Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC), and the Brazilian Cooperation Agency (ABC). Partners: GIZ and Expertise France.
