Launch of the Global UNOSSC South-South and Triangular Cooperation Solutions Lab

On 31 July 2024, the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC) is hosting a virtual launch of the South-South and Triangular Cooperation Solutions Lab, marking a significant step enhancing the ability of the Office and its partners to foster innovative and sustainable development solutions through South-South and Triangular Cooperation.
The South-South and Triangular Cooperation Solutions Lab is a new service line under the UNOSSC Strategic Framework 2022–2025. It is designed to accelerate the development and implementation of innovative solutions by leveraging knowledge exchange, capacity development, and technology transfer. The Lab aims to enhance the capabilities of developing countries in making evidence-based decisions, incubate and scale solutions to foster sustainable development, and create policies that address emerging global challenges. The launch event will feature presentations from the first cohort of strategic partners, including the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the World Food Programme (WFP), the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), Masdar City, and the Gulf Organization for Research and Development (GORD Institute). These partners have committed to support the Lab through collaborative work and synergies with their own initiatives, reflecting the Lab’s paradigm shift towards systematic and strategic partnerships among Southern countries and triangular cooperation partners.Link Programação
