Resumo
The present review follows up on a previous Joint Inspection Unit (JIU) report on South-South and triangular cooperation in the United Nations system (JIU/REP/2011/3) published in 2011, which presented 12 recommendations (see annex I). As requested by the General Assembly,1 the objective of the present review is to make an assessment of the progress made on these recommendations to the United Nations development system on implementing measures to further strengthen the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC).
