Resumo
It is my great pleasure to present the Fifty Sixth Annual Report on the development operations of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development for the fiscal year 2017- 2018 ending March 31, 2018.
As in previous years, the Fund has pursued its activities throughout the year with the primary objective of assisting developing nations in their efforts to achieve their development goals and further improve the standard of living of their people and societies.
The Fund was able to conclude and sign 23 loan agreements in the amount of about KD 278 million, 6 of
which were with Arab countries, 7 with African countries, 4 with East, South Asian, and Pacific countries, 2 with Central Asian and European Countries and one with a Latin American and Caribbean country.
