With each passing day, the architecture of international development cooperation gets more and more complex in terms of both the agents involved and practices deployed. At the same time, the responsibilities and obligations of global agents, especially the developed affluent nations, has been rising with regard to humanitarian aid due to escalating problems around the world.
In 2015, Turkey, taking full account of its responsibility, reached out to over 150 countries in the spirit of justice, fairness and truthfulness and lent the helping hand of the Turkish state to those in need regardless of culture, religion or ethnic background.
Our country, taking strength and inspiration from its civilizational values, has been advocating a stance that demands global justice for the problems of the contemporary world. In this respect, Turkey’s projects, meant to address real and immediate problems of people around the world, are praised by the international community.
