TCDC/13/2 - Consideration of reports of the administrator of the United Nations development programme (2003)

This document is submitted pursuant to decisions 12/1 and 12/2 of the High-Level Committee to review technical cooperation among developing countries. It examines: a) the application of the revised Guidelines for the review of policies and procedures related to technical cooperation among developing countries and the common results framework that has been incorporated into the guidelines; b) the situation, administration and use of the Trust Fund for Voluntary Contributions for the Promotion of South-South Cooperation; and c) the organizational, administrative and financial provisions of the United Nations Development Program in support of technical cooperation among developing countries. Based on the analysis contained in the report, concrete recommendations are made to advance the objectives of technical cooperation among developing countries and South-South cooperation in general.
