Resumo
The United Nations Conference on Technical Co-operation among Developing Countries (TCDC), held in Buenos Aires from 30 August to 12 September 1978, marked a significant point in the continuing efforts of the United Nations system to foster international co-operation for development. The Conference demonstrated a broad political will to improve the asymmetrical structure of co-operation in international development by placing greater emphasis and reliance on the use of the increasing technical and scientific capabilities of developing countries in promoting and advancing their social and economic development.
